What documents do I need for customs clearance?
- Commercial invoice & packing list
- Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
- Import permits/certificates where applicable (e.g., standards, health, phytosanitary)

How long does clearance take at the port?
Timelines vary by carrier release, customs selectivity (green/yellow/red channel), inspections, document completeness and duty/tax settlement. Once all prerequisites are met, many compliant shipments clear within a few working days.
Do you handle transit cargo to neighboring countries?
Yes. We manage transit to key borders and ports, including Sirari, Namanga, Tunduma, Rusumo, Dar es Salaam Port and Zanzibar Port.

Can you assist with duties, taxes and exemptions?
We calculate and guide on applicable duties/taxes and support exemption or relief procedures where applicable, based on current regulations and your commodity/HS code.

What categories do you supply?
Core categories include construction materials, agricultural/industrial spares, electrical components, office supplies, packaging materials and FMCG consumables. Share your spec on the Get a Quote form.
Do you source locally or internationally?
Both. We match lead time and budget using local, regional, or international suppliers and provide an itemized pro-forma before purchase.
Do items come with warranty?
We pass through the manufacturer’s warranty where available and document product/lot details on our invoice. Warranty terms vary by brand and item.

Which truck options are available?
We arrange container haulage (20ft/40ft), tautliners/curtainsiders, flatbeds and other configurations depending on cargo and route.
Do you provide tracking and proof of delivery?
Yes. Trips can be monitored and we provide delivery notes / POD on completion. For certain lanes we can share GPS checkpoints or status updates.
Do you serve Zanzibar and upcountry destinations?
Yes — we coordinate port/jetty handover and last-mile delivery as needed. Share the destination on your request.

How do I request a quote?

Which Incoterms do you work with?
We routinely handle EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR/CIF and DAP/DDP scenarios. Tell us your intended term so we can scope responsibilities and costs correctly.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment instructions (typically bank transfer) are provided on the pro-forma invoice. For project or recurring work we can discuss account arrangements.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Our quotations are itemized (agency, port/terminal, customs, transport, and third-party charges where applicable). Any changes are agreed with you before proceeding.
